"I’m so happy we chose Catalonia for our vacation, the food is amazing, cheers to the chefs! We have stayed in a couple of resorts in Cancun and Punta Cana and I can say Catalonia grand Costa Mujeres has the best food. They offer delicious options for lunch including Peruvian restaurant, Mexican restaurant, Italian and burgers (besides the buffet). The room was clean, comfortable bed and Karina the house keeper was always attentive and friendly, our room stayed clean and organized during our whole stay. Definitely will come back. "

"We enjoyed our time at the Finest Playa Mujeres Resort. The staff was friendly, easy to get seated at restaurants (even with our large group - 21 people). No complaints by anyone in our group; even the kids had a great time, which always makes it easier for the parents to relax and enjoy themselves. From what my friends/family have told me, it is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. We will definitely go back."

"Wonderful visit, beautiful setting, delicious array of food in the buffet for all 3 meals, staff is fantastic, friendly and professional. As others have mentioned, the rooms need updating but it didn't deter from the visit. I didnt read anywhere about this, but you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilet, not just for the hotel but the island and even in a couple of locations on the mainland that we visited. It's an adjustment! The hotel should have provided more direction around this. A garbage can next to the toilet is not enough. Bags to deposit toilet paper in is a minimum of what would help. This shouldn't let it deter you however. The island of Las Mujeres has a wonderful feel. Many gift stores are touristy but fun. We enjoyed our trip immensely."

"I researched quite a few hotels before settling on this one. As many as you I read the reviews…this place exceeded my expectations. First off the food was absolutely incredible, each dish felt like it was made specifically for you with high quality options. The staff was amazing, attentive and cheerful adding to the overall experience. Room was clean, updated and nice. We loved it and will be returning. I’d definitely say this is family friendly and more focused on those wanting to relax over a party atmosphere. "

"The only blemish in our stay were the 2 guys making the omelettes whose customer service skills were none existent. Except for those 2 bozos, the stay, the room, the rest of the staff, the drinks, the food, and everything else was excellent. Great job Izla and thank you for an awesome stay. Very quiet and restful vaca."

"Loved this hotel for our 10 year anniversary. We had a Swim up suite with infinity pool and it was an A . Our room was right next to the adult pool, so we were able to order speciality drinks from the pool servers. We loved Angel! We could still see the Adult pool, hear the music and participate in the activities. It was a great vibe. The room was very spacious and clean. Our room came with a butler, Chris. He was very responsive and great to work with. The beach was beautiful with shaded grass huts and cabanas to lounge in. The sand was soft and white. Buffets were good and we loved the ice cream. Wish the ice cream was served 24/7. The nighttime entertainment was super fun, especially being so far away from the city and all other activities, it helped keep us entertained. One downside is that this resort is far away from all the adventures, like cenotes and zip-lining. You have to travel far! But overall for a nice anniversary trip, it was relaxing."
