"Service in the restaurants should be better, most of the time they didn’t understand what we were saying or helped us get drinks etc… Concierge is amazing ! Nicolay helped us so much, the vacation tour lady was the best and the girls in the kids club too! The music around the pool should be better. But we had so much fun and we love Barceló resorts. "

"The staff was friendly and professional. We were worried while planning our vacation in the Dominican Republic because a lot of the reviews of different resorts complained about the food. We chose Breathless because there were more good reviews than bad. The food was very good and the wine was not bad at all. Some reviews complained about the wine, we thought they were good. You can't expect $30 bottles of wine at a resort and if you want that then pay extra. The only meal we did not care for our dinner at Silk City. In retrospect, we should have eaten off the Sushi menu, instead of the regular menu, since the Sushi at the lunch buffet was excellent. The breakfast and lunch buffets had something for everyone, and we loved the fact that we were seated at a table by a hostess. There is nothing worse than having a plate full of food and then searching for the nonexistent table, like on a cruise. The resort was very clean including the beach. Every day we went on a walk down beach and most of the resorts either didn't clean up the seaweed to the point that you couldn't go from the resorts to the water without navigating through a 4 foot wide swath of nasty seaweed, or did a poor job. Breathless and Dreams Oynx had beautifully clean beaches. We'll be back."

"The staff was absolutely incredible and the dining options were fantastic. This is truly a perfect experience for a couple to spend some quality time together while enjoying a beautiful tropical paradise! Also when you are there go see the one and only Ruban and Desire holding down the bar. Also Vinny was our personal guest experience guide and he made everything so easy for us as first timers and even found us on a couple of occasions to check in and see how everything was going. Also a must have is the Los Corales beach and rodizio restaurant with the amazing Omar cutting the meats, he gave us such great service we went there 3 out of the 5 nights we were there!"
