"When I got there the owner didnt speak english as it said on hotels.com. She also tried to get me to pay in cash with pesos even though we had agreed the previous night that I would pay with my credit card and be charged in US dollars and she would pay for the 3% conversion fee. "The room they put us in needed some work. The faucet on the kitchen was broke off literally. The filter water would only drip out and the bathroom faucets hot water handle didn’t work. We had maintenance come and they literally super glued the faucet back in. Water comes out but you can not swivel it. The next guest may try to swivel it and it will break off again. "Located directly on the beach, this boutique resort did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, helpful and genuine. While there was only one small intimate restaurant, the chef created delicious and plentiful options for his guests. The various entertain events proved very enjoyable. The best part was the expansive beach and its proximity to great restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a small, quiet, and peaceful resort, this is a great option. "
