We overall liked our experience at El Cid. It was great having 3 resorts to walk to and eat at. It didn't seem crowded at all. Staff was great. Downside was our room at the marina smelled very musty. They changed our room and was a little better but still musty. Our friends had an air conditioner that wasn't working so they ended up at one of the other resorts that was newer and didn't have the musty smell. We enjoyed all the restaurants except the seafood one. Was very disappointed in the food there.

La Isla shopping mall is an outdoor shopping mall. It's fine - I don't know if I would ever go back to it - we didn't buy anything from here.
