"Ernesto the Dancing Chef at Moon Palace was simply awesome. His Supervisory chain should be looking to promote him. The Hotel room we stayed at: The AC control was not working so it was a constant 64 Degrees in the room, which was not comfortable at all. Actually believe that is the reason I was really sick after our vacation. Transportation folks and Busboys were awesome."

"The property is a bit older but cared for. A little more maintenance in the rooms would be nice. Staff were exceptional! Pools and beach area are great. Bring water shoes for the beach, the resort part of the beach is rocky getting into the water. Lacked information on areas and activities. If you want pool chair or beach chair get up early and put your towels on them. People save them for the whole day whether they use them or not. "The overall experience was great! The staff in every department is friendly and very kind and helpful. The onsite restaurants need more choices on the menu, the food at most restaurants were awful too oily and greasy. We preferred buffet and sports bar. Travelled as family with two small kids for 5 days and we all got sick for two days due to foods. On the other note, great property, staff was amazing the housekeeping services done within minutes without asking and beyond. "

"We love visiting this resort and have been twice before. The food was solid, make sure you hit the catch of the day for lunch at the seaside grill. There were some power outages when we were there this most recent visit, not sure if that happens regularly. It’s also not quite clear what you have access to as a preferred club room. I was given mixed feedback when asked if we’d have access to Indigo which is a new restaurant on site."

"Ended up getting covid not the resorts fault but i did not see much cleaning.1 pool heated rest not so only one pool was behing used.the sports club was freezing and we ordered food it was colder that the club."

"Last time I visited this resort was 2008 with my father. Have been to other excellence resorts - Finest which is more Family oriented. Overall My GF and I enjoyed our stay. We had some issues in the beginning but the leadership team/managers will try their best to accommodate you ! I could also tell the leadership team cares about their employees. "Where to begin? From the second we walked into the main lobby we were blown away. The service and attention to detail blows every hotel, resort or otherwise completely out of the water. "I stayed at Nizuc but wished I would've stayed at Sunrise instead. The majority of events, activities, and dinining options were at Sunrise and so we did ALOT of walking to there. I liked how Nizuc was more quiet and not as crowded as the Grand and Sunrise. I felt like there should've been more food options to choose from for the price that was paid for the resort, but the service and cleanliness of the resort made up for it. Overall, it was a great experience there."

"The property was ideal for a short stay. The breakfast included was great with a variety of typical Mexican dishes. We stayed in a suite with two bedrooms and was nice to have plenty of room for everyone, we also added a pull-up sofa bed for a total of 5 adults comfortable sleeping. The gym and pool areas are well sized with snacks and drink service. There's a self-service laundry room that can became handy for some. Only comment is that the floor we stayed was over perfumated and cause some discomfort, but other than that the place was great. "

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cancun Airport

"This is a typical American, chain-style, large hotel with a relatively good price point. We used this hotel as a stop-over from Isla Mujeres the day before our flight. They offer free airport shuttle every 1/2hour, complimentary breakfast, and a nice pool area with hot tub too (it was too hot for my Canadian a$$, but others liked it), and other amenities. Clean and organized with professional staff. My only gripe is the dinner options at the hotel restaurant. BUT i will temper this in that its a hotel restaurant, we werent there for a dinner experience, we were there as a stop-over for our flight out. Fir us it was a great option, a relaxing way to get get to the airport from afar without rushing."
