"Weird to leave a review for a hotel which has now been demolished! Spacious and comfortable room, let down by lack of basic in room amenities (coffee, fridge etc). Great outdoor pool complex but ridiculously overpriced drinks. Great central strip location and shame to see it gone."

"The Sahara is a beautiful hotel! The room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a problem with the AC, called about it, and the maintenance man, Al, was there in a flash! Very personable man. The casino is immense and was enjoyable to gamble in. It it s great place to stay!"

"We had a corner suite - which ended up being very dark 24/7. I would have expected better facilities in the room - we had an old small fridge that froze everything, no iron, no tea and coffee facilities, no microwave. The “sitting” area was massive - they could have easily put a small kitchenette in there."

"Make sure you understand which tower you are getting into. Versailles Tower is not as close to the strip as the Bueardeau tower and also doesn't have direct access to pool/spa, you need to get there through a bridge that can be closed somewhere imes. We found the description of rooms provided by hotels.com can be misleading/is incorrect. The hotel itself is nice and staff made an effort to address our concerns. We initially got a room without a view, even though we had specifically paid for one...

"I really appreciated the free upgrade to a suite. That was awesome. Overall clean nice place. By way of complaints, the carpet was dated, the bathtub water stopper didn’t work so no bath, the hot water only went to Luke warm. For the price though, all those are small details. Overall an amazing experience. "
