2nd stay at the Luxor and found it again decent value. Staff are friendly and West Tower was easily accessible for the pool. Moving walkways / tram make travel to Mandalay Bay/ Excalibur and NYNY fairly simple. Little flies were again living in my room which isn't ideal but didn't see many. Pools are ok, but very loud on the weekend and total lack of umbrellas made pool visits short in duration! The hotel rooms are reasonably priced though and restaurants / casino are fine, without being too exciting.. Overall enjoyed my stay and may be back another time..

I love the idea of the pyramid but once staying inside it felt a bit outdated. The room that we were put in was not the one we booked. It was not very well cleaned, smudges on the light switches, the bathroom counter was dirty and earrings from someone else still on it. They did not service our room in the 2 nights we stayed. The walkways into the hotel were very dirty. I had higher expectations than I probably should have.

We were given a room in the gold elevator tower and it was so far from check in desk. Water was lukewarm and pressure was low asked for another room which a supervisor had to get involved to accommodate that request. A dead roach was spotted in the hallway near elevator, check in line was long but wait wasn’t too bad.

Overall a fine place. They are extremely understaffed when it comes to checkin. Downloaded the app in the lobby for "faster check in" but our room wasn't ready. Had to get into the physical line which took about 40 minutes to get a room assigned and keys (around 8 pm). Other than that the room was as expected and overall a good stay.

The inclinators(elevators) were very unique, kinda cool. The front desk at initial check-in was very kurt and rude, after needing to leave and come back, due to them not accepting cash for deposits, different associate was much friendlier. The room was terrible, as soon as we walked in, we were hit with a suffocating humid-like heaviness to the air, no exaggeration, it was very stifling. No microwave, no toaster, no coffee maker, no mini fridge, just an ice bucket and 6 tiny plastic cups, ice machine closest to our room was inoperable, and appeared to have a condom in it, free safe in the nightstand, still waiting for the $100 deposit to be credited back to my card(nearly 20 days later). Parking was a 1 mile hike to get to our room, and costs $18. Luckily they offer a bell desk, with very friendly courteous hard-working bell-hops. Be warned though the claim ticket you receive is a waiver that claims they are not responsible if anything goes missing or gets damaged while your things are in their care. Ordered pizza from Domino's, had to go down to valet to receive it, because they won't let food delivery up to the rooms. They offer food room service, for a fee plus the cost of the meal(s). Do not recommend, will never go back. Had high hopes, was very disappointed from the very start.
