"After attending a wedding and staying at a resort at the northwest side of the island, we decided to try the opposite side. Very comfortable location overlooking a golf course. Even played a few holes. Very short drive to Volcano National Park where we spent quite a bit of time. Home was very clean, well equipped and owners were very accommodating. Very relaxing location. I highly recommend this location and would definitely come back if I was to stay in the area."

"Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. "We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

"Being able to wander down the hill and across the street to snorkel was definitely a highlight. Our favourite room in the condo was the lanai, with it’s view of the park and ocean. The exterior of the complex is well-maintained with manicured gardens and a nice pool area. The condo itself is a little tired. "We absolutely loved our stay at Mauna Lani! We came to Hawaii to celebrate baby moon and the hotel made sure I was comfortable by providing a pregnancy pillow & gifted a cute gift box for baby and I. The resort is absolutely breathtaking, especially the main inside interior and garden area. Staff was very friendly, everything looked new and well maintained.
