"It’s was a beautiful place all around we had a good time. A couple issues were the roaches we kept finding as well as the ants that got into our food. The rooms were hot despite the fan and the a/c being on at times. There was plenty of room with 2 separate rooms and a living room and a dinner table. "We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

"I have stayed at this property many times, as I enjoy it for business. However, this was the first time I was given a room with no shower, only a tub. I was a bit confused as 1. This has never happened to me and 2. The Room Type description says that there is a tub and shower. If having a shower is a dealbreaker for you, use this review as a warning to make sure you double check when you check-in. Other than this recent experience, I enjoy this property. "

"Great location, has all the amenities of the Hilton Waikoloa Resort but feels like an escape from the crowds at the hotel. Spacious rooms, great views all around and convenient location to shopping and dining. "

I arrived at the property after 6 and l was struggled to find out how to check into my unit not knowing that they emailed me an instruction how to get into my unit"
