"Staying at the Royal Haciendas was lovely but there are some pros and cons you should way depending on what you like and value the most! This is based off our all inclusive package. Pros: -amazing staff and service. The staff here are very kind and very attentive. You get drink and food service at the pool and beach. And free room service with the all inclusive package. -great food. The buffet is smaller than I expected but all the food that is there and at all the restaurants is so delicious....

Carlos (has worked there for around 10 years) welcomed us and was so helpful and friendly as he always is! Our room was nice and a great view, comfy table and lounge chairs on the lanai. "I had never been to Playa del Carmen before, it would have been nice to know that the pedestrian walkway to the central area was just left as you exit the hotel. I turned right and the area felt less safe as I was walking along the sidewalk. It is a great location for the price, once I realized how close it was to the pedestrian road.
