"I generally like the Aloft properties, and I can say the same about this one. The lobby has a mod vibe and nice, big lobby bar, which I liked. I’d say, while the rooms are nice and clean, they are in need of a “face lift”. They felt a little weathered and could use some love. Otherwise, loved the location and energy!"

"Fabulous location, great size room! Definitely worth the price to stay in essentially an apartment- the one bedroom king room. It was great to have a fridge and stove top and microwave as well as dishes. For a mom and teen daughter weekend shopping trip it was absolutely perfect- we both had plenty of space between the king sized bed and the pull out couch, and our own TVs which we were able to sign into our Netflix account. "Absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely stay again! The rooms were so clean and cozy — the perfect place to unwind after I had been running around the city all day. The staff was also so friendly as well. I have to give Graciela a big shout out — I left my glasses in the lobby while I was checking out, she was so understanding and made it possible that I could get my glasses shipped to me within a few hours. "The Congress Plaza Hotel is an obviously old building, but they have done their best to update it. The room and bed were comfortable, clean, and well organized. There are of course some parts of the hotel that have maintained the old nostalgic feeling, but I didn't find anything off-putting or overly concerning. Overall, a satisfactory stay!"
