"We loved the setting and the nature around us. A huge reason that we stayed was that I wanted to try diving. We tried the Discover Diving program at the Dressel Dive Center. Our instructors Juani and Alan were absolutely great - we could not have asked for better instructors. In fact will come back and stay again at which time we take the diving certification program and I will ask for them again - they were that good."

"The beach and clear blue water is the best. Great for snorkeling. The food is ok and the rooms outdated but we always stay here for the staff and the beach. We don't go on vacation for food"

"The resort wasn’t bad but Orbitz did a terrible job of coordinating things with the resort. Unfortunately a flight that I booked with Orbitz was canceled which took a day and a half off of our trip. Orbitz claimed they couldn’t refund me for the missed day "

"Meliá had a wonderful beach area, our room was always clean and fridge was stocked. All staff were wonderful. Shoutout to Diego and Ian, the level beach area servers. They kept our drinks flowing and were so helpful and always smiling! The rooms could use updating especially new mattresses and the food was just ok, nothing special. Overall I would go back to Melia, the outstanding staff really was the best part. Thank you! "
