"We have stayed at Casa Del Mar over 20 times in the last 16 years. The staff are why we keep coming back. This may be the last time we stay there as the hotel needs upgrades in many areas. The bedrooms are noisy with the AC and fridge and generally need refurbishment. Bathroom windows (most rooms) are not sealed and allow mosquitoes to enter. Showers/sinks generally need to be replaced and water flow improved. The Restaurant has not changed the menu in 16 years and the quality of the food...

"Our flight was cancelled, so we had to rush to find a place close to the airport. There are two Daniels here, one the owner, the other the cairtaker and cook. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and cared for. This may seem like a tiny, simple place, but it is a real find. If you're looking for a place for a short stop-over, this is it! We can't recommend it highly enough. "

"Our stay was amazing! Tucked away in the rainforest, it was quiet and so peaceful. Our room was super clean and tidy. Everyday the came and made the bed, new towels and tidied up. Each morning they dropped off banana bread, orange juice and coffee. There was one pool, and one restaurant w an associated bar. Everything else was in the neighboring hotel. There were quite a few restaurant options, but honestly not a ton of vegetarian options. Other than that however, our stay was phenomenal and I would absolutely stay again!"
