"Large yard with crystal-clear swimming pool. Shade trees and lots of seating. Manager very helpful with details of Expedia billing. Purified water available at an extra charge. A/C on 10 pm to 8 am in dorm only, and only to Oct. 31. Bird viewing on the property was excellent with many species to see. Clean, comfortable beds. Big lockers with lots of space for big packs."

"As a scuba diver this property is perfect. Has a dock for dive boats,you can do a shallow water dive right off the dock and dive shop on property. The entire staff of the hotel,restaurant and dive shop were fantastic. The property is a little run down but it did not bother me or my wife. Room were clean and comfortable."

"The owner was onsite and was extremely personable. She shared her vision of having her property as a boutique hotel - she is well on her way. Along with a mini fridge in the room there is a functional community kitchen for those wanting to buy and cook their own food. I was eating out and there was a cute little cafe for breakfast about 1 1/2 blocks away and Casa Mexicana for dinner (deemed 1of top 2 restaurants in Cozumel) about 3 blocks away. "

"Smaller property that is very quiet. Is currently undergoing renovations. Most of the staff have worked there for years and treat you like family. The only improvement I can see would be adding a washer and dryer for those of us who stay a couple of weeks at a time."

Hotel was: -safe -close to ferry terminal (2 blocks) -close to main port area -quiet even though so close to main port area Fridge and microwave for use Free coffee and tea Patio and kitchen area awesome Games and books for all to use Only thing is bring insect repellant!
