"This was an excellent place to stay. Our Level room was huge! A bottle of wine waiting when we got there! Fully stocked Mini fridge. And the bathroom was perfect for women with a place to get ready outside the toilet area. And cottenlle toilet paper! Fully stocked shower with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The property was well kept and taken care of daily. The staff was phenomenal. Helped us every day, took care of us, and were so kind. Highly recommend getting the Level Grande room. Private area to sit during the day on tiki loungers, private snack bar, concierge service, and they make your reservations. There was not one thing to complain about with this property. Buffett was excellent, as were the restaurants. Drinks were good, bartenders were so fun and kind. We would go back! "

"The resort is smaller which we prefer. Service very good and food was awesome! Love the location, can walk to shops and snorkel right at the resort. It is a bit dated, but we really dont care. If you like new and fancy, then not a good fit. Hope to go back! "

"I came to Cozumel for dive training and had a great experience at El Cid. The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious with everything I needed, and the cleaning staff took care of the room every day. I paid for the all-inclusive meal plan and enjoyed all meals and drinks - worth the month. I might consider upgrading to elite to get the butler service. Overall, It was a great experience and I’ll be back. "
