"Check in was super quick and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and modern. Bed was comfortable, bathroom came with amenities and it was very clean and sleek. Location is fantastic and the tram station is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"We were travelling up the coast road and the location suited us. It is a little remote, but set along a nice piece of coast. We had a two room apartment which was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast we good. The staff on Reception and in the restaurant were very helpful. "

Our canal view room was worth the extra expense and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was newly refurbished and very modern. Food was of good quality at breakfast and one dinner in the restaurant, if a little on the expensive side. Would definitely stay at the Ambassade Hotel again. "Great food at a low price! The staff are all warm and welcoming especially waiter Marcel who was friendly, polite and knowledgeable! The hotel room was very small, the pillows were terrible, we ran out of loo roll in the second day! There were only enough toiletries for one person and the iron didn't take a single crease out of my clothes! The room was quiet except for the hour when the church chimed! Parking is like a max 7 minutes walk so don't pay for it! We were advised it was 15-20 minutes...

"Beautiful property in a great, walkable area. The canal room view was so beautiful with the view. Be mindful, if you are a light sleeper, the street noise was obnoxious one of the nights, but that comes with wanting the view. Will definitely stay here again!"

Some of the apartments and amenities inside are more dated than others, but overall I continue to stay here because the apartments are a good value. "
