"Grand size hotel near the Central train station but away from the noise and the busyness that is Amsterdam. Beautiful Art Deco structure and design. Very large rooms. Only complaint is that the working desk did not have anything like a suitable chair. We had to haul over a giant cushion-chair to use. Still - 5 stars. "

Was a bit far from the museums which required a lot of walking, but isn't a huge complaint for those happy to explore the streets and sights of Amsterdam. "

We were picked up at the airport by the shuttle and were very early for check in but the young man at the counter told us that he would do what he could do to get us in. We sat in the lobby for about an hour and then was in our room about 3 hours before 3:00pm check in. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
