Was a bit far from the museums which required a lot of walking, but isn't a huge complaint for those happy to explore the streets and sights of Amsterdam. "

"We stayed here last weekend and the hotel is a fabulous location as the metro station is a stones throw away into central station in about 15mins. Stunning hotel but not an accurate description of rooms being sound proofed. We heard furniture above being moved regularly and the housekeeping staff were very noisey but apart that, super lovely comfortable hotel "

"We were staying to wait for our flight the next day transfer off a15 day cruise. We were picked up at the airport by the shuttle and were very early for check in but the young man at the counter told us that he would do what he could do to get us in. We sat in the lobby for about an hour and then was in our room about 3 hours before 3:00pm check in. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. "For what it is (a hostel), it is great! Staff were responsive, great location, especially around art week, and museums (if you have the time for it). Location is near a zoo Artis, so there are surprisingly unique birds clustered together. "
