"The hotel is a step back in time - laid back and very nice. It’s convenient to everything. HOWEVER, if you’re looking for quiet before 1 am, make sure you do not reserve room number 8. The Green Turtle Tavern is next door with live entertainment till 11pm, and closing at 1am. "

"The Lodge was very nice and the staff excellent! The room size was great but I would definitely choose the ocean view over the sunset.We were not in the room except to sleep and shower so it was fine for us. They all made you feel right at home and had a nice breakfast! Unfortunately, there was a musty smell in the building/room.The mattress was thin and not comfortable and the bathroom needs an upgrade. "

"We had an excellent stay at The Addison. The room was clean and charming. The place was meticulously maintained. Ron and Lisa were excellent hosts. They helped with restaurant suggestions as well as places to visit. Bicycles were provided for free and made for a great way to get around and see Fernandina. The happy hour made for a nice way to meet other guests. I absolutely would recommend The Addison as a great place to stay on Amelia Island. Absolutely worth it!"

"We came in to town for our son’s first birthday! Upon arrival, our host Kathy was very informative and accommodating. This home is absolutely lovely and in such a wonderful, quiet and centralized location on the island. The amenities were perfect, the home was extremely clean and beds were soft and comfortable. Our family enjoyed the entire trip, as if it was a home away from home."

Door didnt have keypad to enter code given to us, and to make call to for further instructions. Once we wasted a hour are stay was as described. Enjoyable week "
