"The hotel was conveniently located near the Atocha train station in Madrid and was a small 10 minute walk away from El Retiro Park. The hotel staff was amazing and let us check in as early as at 8:00 AM following our international flight arrival since there were rooms available. The room was comfortable and with excellent amenities. Catching a train to Toledo for a day trip from the Atocha train station was only a 15 min walk away. "

"Pros: Great location in center of Madrid, walkable distance to all attractions, less than 1 mile away from Palace and Prado museums. Great attentive staff and reception. Outstanding breakfast m, totally worth the money!!! Cons: Outdated rooms, leaky shower cabin, some water damage, some decolorisation on the ceiling. "honestly this place did not look like a hostel. More like a holding cell for immigrants , in fact I was asked if I was part of a Colombian group that is staying awaiting deportation. The room smelled really bad.,people were inside their beds and they seemed very dirty people . Some of them lived there. There was only one bathroom for women and I was told that I need to use that lbathroom and to be fully clothed because yeh girls were there . I did not stay . I checked in , stayed an hour and...
