"What an absolutely stunning hotel! Everything from the lobby, guest area to the room was so beautiful and calming. The room was genuinely spacious and not just by Japanese standards. The little guest lounge was so lovely after a long day of exploring, with its lovely complimentary snacks and drinks. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. It was a joy to stay there and would recommend it to anyone staying in Kyoto! "

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect - with easy access to taxis when we needed to go somewhere outside of walking distance. The neighborhood around the hotel is great. The staff were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious!"

"We stayed six nights for our first trip to Japan. Beautiful location and we appreciated the discounted upgrade when it was offered on check-in. . Convenient location walkable to many sites. Great breakfast buffet and the very best bakery! Staff very helpful with great English; we speak no Japanese whatsoever. Very safe area with some good local small restaurants. "

"Stayed in the Yu family room and it was a wonderful stay. Cleanliness and amenities were top notch. Kids loved the bunk beds and tuk tuk shuttle. Even on the 20th floor, you could hear trains below but it didn’t bother us and didn’t have an issue sleeping"

"The hotel is in the business convention district. Amenities and interior are too notch. Very close to typical local Osaka restaurants. There is also a very convenient shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station. Wish I knew this instead of taking a taxi to the hotel. The shuttle comes every 15 minutes."

"Our room wasn’t the most spacious, but it had everything we needed. They have a nice little grab-and-go essentials like toothbrush, tea and coffee. This is a great option for people who want to stay super close to the Kyoto station for ease of transit into the city center or taking the Shinkansen to Osaka or Tokyo. "
