"Quaint, quiet, and cozy cabin nestled right on Claytor Lake. The cabin was clean and just as described and pictured. Husband and I were having a get-a-way weekend and it was perfect. Had one rolling storm come through and it was wonderful to listen to the rain hitting the metal roof. Love that this owner allows access to canoes, kayaks and watershed. My hubby and I went in the lake each day; he fished and I just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Saw all kinds of wildlife during our time on the water...

"Gosh! A beautiful cabin in such a beautiful setting! If there could be improvement, I may suggest dish detergent, bath soap, towel bars/hangers, bedside tables and lamps, as well as a table or chest of drawers to put clothes. Minor fixes I am certain will come as the house is new! Overall, an absolutely wonderful weekend that should have lasted longer!!! Many thanks!"

"We just loved it! Way beyond our expectations! The cabin was was so very cozy, and everything was just wonderful. The setting was peaceful and tranquil, especially with the stream running along the cabin. The cabin gives you the feel as if you are back in the 1800s, yet had all of the modern conveniences to enjoy and relax with. The complimentary bottle of wine was so nice! We will be back!"

"Practically brand new clean and comfortable cabin. Had everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway! Communication was excellent from booking to departure. There was TV at the time we booked (because the cabin was new). When I asked about the T V they made it happen before we arrived went above and beyond!"

"Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"This cabin was really efficient with all amenities. The host responded immediately to any questions and was very cordial. The peacefulness while sitting on the deck and enjoying wildlife was spectacular. Would highly recommend for a calm and beautiful getaway."

"Gorgeous area, cute comfy cabin that was very well built, bucolic farmyard surroundings, friendly owners offering plenty of privacy, minutes to Floyd; it was perfect. As noted by the owners this place is for you if you’ll love being on a small family farm so of course there are chickens and goats and dogs and a horse, etc.; it’s awesome. Say hi to Zora and Michu!"
