"This house is a perfect lake house with a beautiful view. The house was well stocked and quaint. The outdoor chairs had some dry rot and were torn, but we had extra chairs with us. The dock is spectacular and the fire pit was great at night. We brought firewood but they had plenty, as well. We were there for a Virginia Tech football game and it was about 45 minutes there, but nice to have a place to unwind afterwards. The road to the house is a little treacherous and hard to understand. ...

"Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The setting was peaceful and tranquil, especially with the stream running along the cabin. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. "We stayed at this house for a long weekend to watch a VT football game. It was pretty convenient to get to the university and other areas from the house. Being right on the lake was beautiful...and would have been more so if we had gone 2 weeks earlier to see all the leaves changing!
