"Das Haus ist sehr groß, so dass man mit 6 Personen sich auch mal gut aus dem Weg gehen kann. Die Küche ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. In 15 Geh-Minuten ist man in der Altstadt. Parken war in der Straße auch kein Problem. Dafür das in dem Haus kein Haustier erlaubt ist, lebt dort leider eine Katze, die auch in dem Haus sich gut auskennt. Dieses war für uns sehr unangehm insbesondere wenn man eine Katzenhaarallergie hat. "

Anna is the host and is the loveliest person. She had baked us xakes for our arrival and supplied us with extra beach towels when needed. "Really this house has a perfect location. It’s walking distance from many restaurants, some shops and a grocery store. All with a view of the ocean. Bedrooms are on the top floor with the kitchen and living room below. The master bedroom has an amazing view with a patio to sit outside and have coffee. We would happily stay here again if we come back to Madera."

"We, 2 adults and 2 kids, had the great pleasure to stay from 26th of June until 4th of July . Beautiful property with a gorgeous view panorama to Funchal and also from balconies the Atlantic Ocean. Rose, the owner, was such a great help, very responsive, very understandable person. House is situated in a beautiful selected area, you gave Mercadona grocery 10-1( minutes by walk or 5 min by car. "Lovely spot but roads are not for the faint of heart. Had trouble finding property and did lots of driving on steep narrow windy roads. Scary for us flat landers. "

"Carolina was a great host! The place was clean and so peaceful up on the mountain side near the airport. Under 30 min drive to the main trails or Funchal. The only downside is the roads leading up to the property were quite steep and narrow-you definitely have to be a decent driver. Cannot wait to stay there again. "
