"This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths."

"We love Santa Cruz and the little village with small shops and restaurants. This house is an easy walk to the village and is right on the ocean. You can sleep with the sound of the waves. You also have access to a beautiful pool and spacious terrace. We did not want to leave. Carlos was easy to communicate with a Sandra (the housekeeper) looked after us very well. "

"We got off to a slightly rocky start, finding out only a couple of hours prior to checking in that the house was double booked. Not what we wanted to hear after 2 days of flying to get to Madeira! While this was disappointing, the owner did apologize profusely and respond quickly, accepting that this was a mistake at her end and booking us into a really nice local hotel for the first night. Arrived with food and wine on counter and also had gifts dropped off halfway through stay… house was beautiful and had all the amenities needed for the week, just bring food. Only downside was the bathroom showers flooded the bathrooms.. besides that we had a great experience. Thank you Jose and management. "

Very clean with a lovely kitchen. We were given a hearty appetizer to welcome us to our Madeira vacation. We all had an adventure finding the house due to steep domestic streets and limited google maps. The owners were helpful and gracious guides. It was a wonderful experience."
