"I gave the lower rating due to the fact that the hot tub/pool were down. There was a cutsie, typed explanation as to why, but when this occurs, it gives the impression that the whole facility is on the decline. "

"The breakfast was delicious and the staff nice. The buildings is a bit outdated and could use more detail cleaning but was still overall clean. The pool area needs to be fix and the Pelton at the gym as well. I still really enjoyed our stay and would stay again here. "

"I was concerned about the property when first arriving, but whenever I went to check in, I found the management to be totally attentive and accommodating. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Staffing was short, but it didn't seem to matter. I would stay there again."

"We booked a room for a single overnight stay. Not much of a breakfast, but it had a fridge and microwave, was clean, and otherwise met our needs."

"They are in the process of rehabbing the hotel so I'm sure the part of the ceiling that was peeling in our room will be repaired. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good."

"My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The historical townhouse was spacious and afforded us space to spread out but also spaces to gather. We loved the period details and appliances. The one drawback was the train noise at various hours, but the noise didn’t ruin our sleep. The access to Idle Hour and Guest House was particularly enjoyable. We would all gladly stay here again!"
