"We were visiting the area with family for a graduation from SIU. The house worked out even better than we expected. The comfortable house, the location on the lake, and the kayaks and canoe all helped to make it a fun, memorable trip. The owners were great. Highly recommended."

"The property is just what you would expect nestled on a ridge overlooking the Mississippi River. There were a few dead bugs inside, but (as someone who lives in the MidSouth) that is to be expected in the summer. The owner obviously took steps to prevent live bugs and spiders inside. Lots of room to spread out. The views are incredible! We enjoyed our stay overall."

"The house is huge, it was more than enough room for 6 adults and a baby. The island is perfect for serving charcuterie that you can pick up all the shops in Galena. The kitchen is well appointed to make any meals you need to during your stay. There is a washing machine which was convenient with a baby.
