"We enjoyed our stay while in town to visit our dad at the VA Home in Quincy. The house was cute and immaculately clean. The layout has an open feel. The bathroom is spacious. It is a 5 hour trip down from where we live, so we left here feeling rested and invigorated. We met the owners who are wonderful. We will be back!"

"This was a great house to stay in for our large family. There was plenty of room for everyone (three floors!) and the house was nicely remodeled. The house is conveniently located near a stop for the train and near several good restaurants (make sure to eat at Bongo Cafe). In addition, the owner was very accommodating for my request of an early check in and responded quickly to my messages. I highly recommend staying here!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint, warm and welcoming place. The room was large and filled with antiques. We could see the river from our room. The service was excellent! We had a nice dinner one evening and a wonderful breakfast on Sunday. The sack breakfast on Saturday was perfect to take with us and start our day enjoying the beautiful fall day and National Forest. "We stayed at this home for our daughter’s graduation from SIU with family. The house is fabulous and everyone commented it was a wonderful place to stay. Only 8 mins to SIU campus, but out of the rush of all the traffic that was in town. The mattresses were super comfortable! While we didn’t use the pool or pond, we certainly would have if we had more free time. Highly recommend!!"
