"Absolutely remarkable staff, helpful, thoughtful. The room itself was amazing. Great bed, great shower, and the room was massive. The only downside I would say are the bones of the building itself (hallways, elevator). "The property was easy to get to from JFK, taking the subway. It's pretty much right across the street from Rockefeller. There aren't that many amenities other than the free water on each floor, but the staff was always extremely friendly and offering to go out of their way for different things. "The staff at the reception was very professional, especially David! But when I was about to leave after three days, I sked the lady at the reception to call a cab for a ride to JFK. Well, she said the cab would charge me a flat rate of $90. However, when I get to JFK the cabby charged me more. And I had to dispute that through my bank. I believe the hotel staff should be vigilant regarding the dishonesty of that cabby. "
