It is steps from Times Square so everywhere is very walkable. The only complaint is the noise from the streets ie traffic, horns, sirens, constructions, service trucks. Rooms are small. Walls are thin without insulation so u will hear ur neighbors come and go. Staff are friendly. No kitchenet for hot water or coffee and tea in the room. Location is convenient

Run down. Pillow top “not mattress” on top of spring only frame. EXTREMELY SMALL (2 only) elevators. One set of towels that were of very poor quality and probably 20 years old. TV didn’t work from the get go. Poor quality linens on the “bed”. Paint chipping off walls. Property had NO ICE MACHINE, no cups/ glasses in the room. Only positive/ great location.

The elevator isn’t enough to accommodate the need. So people are constantly waiting around to cram into it. Also the stairs are kept locked up and need an employee to unlock them if you want access. Just generally really overpriced for such a mid and unimpressive hotel. The bed/Mattress was also pretty hard and sad. Won’t be visiting again.

It was much less expensive than my usual choice so I tried it. You get what you pay for. Nothing bad but very bare bones, only 2 incredibly small elevators, no ice machine. It was fine. Staff were very helpful

The OYO Times Square hotel was totally fine for what we needed, as we were only going to be in NYC for a long weekend and were seeing a few shows around there. The room was adequate--it wasn't dirty, there were a lot of water stains on the bathroom tiles but no actual dirt etc. Very bare bones room and amenities, but never gross or unclean. The staff was extremely helpful and kind whenever we needed anything, and they stored our luggage after checkout which was great.

What an absolute rip off! Stayed one night and for the money I was charged, this hotel WAS NOT worth it. The location is great but the hotel was mediocre at best, the rooms were freezing and wouldn't warm up, the elevators were small and slow and I think the vagrant on 38th Street spat with more force than our shower. Never again.
