"This was a very special stay for us. Anyone going to Japan should spend some time at a Ryokan. This one in particular was spectacular. You’re greeted with a breath-taking view of the garden when walking in, the staff were all very friendly and spoke great English. The western and Japanese breakfasts were both delicious. "Where to start, this Ryokan was spectacular. The hotel is beautiful in its traditional style with extremely friendly staff who couldn't have done more. The hotel is a nice ten minute walk from the main area but offer free transfers from the hotel to the onsens. We never used it because the walk was so pleasant. The onsen they provide is lovely with an indoor and outdoor area, the traditional set meals they have was equally brilliant. We will absolutely come back here in the future!"

"It was fantastic to experience a more traditional Japanese style accommodation. The futon beds were really comfortable. Trying the Japanese breakfast was well worth it and the fried tofu in miso was delicious. It is great to find accommodation who goes above and beyond to be sustainable.
