"nice escape to a beach feel"

"Hotel was very nice. Grounds, beach, pool area are all very nice. Staff is profession, polite and accommodating. However there was a power outage at 4am and there were no lights in the the bathroom and no A/C in the hotel restaurant. Upon check out at 11 we told them that we were unable to shower in our room because of this. They credited the people in front of us the resort fee-$40. We were not given that same courtesy and denied after we asked for it by a very busy front desk worker. We understand that they had no control of this weather related incident, but we also were charged for accommodations that were unavailable to us. "
