"Wonderful place to stay! Left feeling like we were leaving life-long friends' home. The south end of the island is very beautiful and feels so authentic. Shelly and Susan are wonderful hostesses and the breakfast was such a treat! The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The outside is beautiful and very welcoming and unique. This property is such an asset to Isla Mujeres."

"This is the type of place that I am reluctant to share because I want it all to myself! Which is mostly what we had this week. Low season meant it was not crowded and there are so many little spaces to hang out that it felt private. The design is gorgeous while feeling relaxed. Art, found objects, and hammocks line the walls, tons of candles illuminate the space in the evening, absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful! Fresh juice, homemade granola, yogurt and a fruit plate...

"We only stayed at the Mansion Giahn for one night, but Joseph and his staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The place itself is very unique in the architecture and I thought it was very pretty. It is located somewhat off the beaten path, so there aren't many food options around. However, Eduardo took my husband to a local taco stand to get us dinner, which was very gracious of him. It's not the Ritz, but it's not meant to be either. Still had a good stay!"

"Friendly people! I like that the localtion is not in a hotel zone but rather in a nice neighborhood with eating options. One negative was that the WIFI signal did not really reach our room upstairs. Also be advised, no coffee on premise. - we found a nice cafe nearby though! "
