"A very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The beds were great but it would have been nice to have a microwave. I enjoyed the free welcome drink and the staff was great. Parking is free and very convenient and the hotel is close to town. A great place to stay for a couple of nights while you tour Hilo and Volcano, which is less than an hour away."

"The cabin is nice, very well equipped, still smells like fresh cedar, and comfortable. It is in a great neighborhood within a couple holes walk from the pro shop. The volcano village is a quick drive down the loop road and has everything one could need. You can see three volcanos from the 18th hole. "

"It’s a large resort but everything feels small. Very pretty property & food on the premises is super! Gym was more than adequate and having a beach on the premises was a big plus in Hawaii. We would go back! "

"The villas property itself was good, nice walking distance to the shops and Marriott where we went for a luau. The pool was on the smaller side but kids loved it. We stayed in one of the older units so it was dated which didn't bother me. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable though. The utensils and items in the kitchen were very minimal. "The rooms could use a little upgrade. There should be more chairs in the shade for free. All the good chairs are reserved. You shouldn’t have to pay for a shaded seat. For the cost of the room, you should get snorkel equipment for more than one hour. Other than that, I loved the property. Staff was excellent and the dining was great too. "
