Hotels in Guayabal, Medellin from CA $80

"It is very well located in the Poblado area, accessible and close to many good tourist areas. The people are so friendly and very serviceable, excellent customer service orientation. In general the hotel physical plant is in good shape but need some renovation on the bathrooms of the junior suite room, need to replace the toilet as it is extremely low for elderly people, also the sink was completely loose. The Tv need better instruction on how to use it, was quite complicated. Bathroom on the lobby are so small that is almost impossible to use them. "

"The looks better in person than the pictures on line. Downside is, the staff DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, including the front desk. Just few of them knew one, or two words of English. The train station and the football (soccer) stadium are literally on the same street (Carrera 70) with the hotel, can just walk there. If one likes to party, that's the place / street to be on. The Centreville, Light tower are not too far via driving."

"We had a family vacation at Viaggio Medellin back in October 2024 and all the staff were very polite, attentive in every way but the one that went above and beyond was the guest member from the bar, Alonso. He gave us a lot of tips and recommendations of places to visit, eat and drink around Antioquia, Medellin, he was very attentive to us the whole time we stated at the hotel and even recommended us some tours. We are very greatful to know him and because of him we had the most wonderful time in Medellin. "

"Conveniently located in el poblado, safest area, the hotel has extremely comfortable rooms, clean , well fornitured , and enjoyable public areas. Breakfast is of good level for quantity and quality. "

"This was one of the fanciest hotels I've ever stayed in. I really cannot believe this place has any poor reviews. The service is impeccable; this property has many restaurants and bars, and everything is amazing and high-end. The pool is small, but I still had a blast laying out for hours and enjoyed the poolside bar/food services. They have great tour guide services, but book weeks in advance if you want a specific day. All the best restaurants surround this hotel (and you can walk to most of them on foot), and Poblado is cute and has great shopping). I was a solo, non-Spanish-speaking female traveler, and unfortunately, I never felt safe enough to leave the hotel after about 8 pm, which was fine since I did tons of sightseeing during the day. Luckily, I could relax, hang out, and have cocktails nightly at the rooftop bar at Click Clack and stay until close. The inside of the hotel was very safe; there were guards everywhere. Sadly, I never felt 100% safe as a woman to walk alone in certain areas of this neighborhood (other American travelers at the pool voiced the same concerns as I had regarding not feeling 100% safe when walking on the side streets of this neighborhood). I definitely would bring all the cash you need, before this trip as I wouldn't want to use any ATMs and get followed after. One last thought: this hotel would be amazing for couples because it has a sexy vibe. I will be back to the Click Clack next time I have a companion to travel with! "

"The hotel is super nice in all senses. I enjoyed staying here. You can walk around the neighborhood and find a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. You can take an Uber to the center of el Poblado for bars and nightlife- it cost $2-3. "
