"For a 4 star hotel this was appalling. During our 3 night stay we didn’t see one member of hotel staff. No reception (self checkin & out) room was dirty I had to clean the toilet when we arrived and the cups but there was no one to tell. Rang reception several times no one picks up. Went down whole area in darkness. You would have thought the hotel was closed. Dinning room closed breakfast in attached bistro, thank goodness this was lovely. "

"The castle is stunning and the people who work there are friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate our children's' food allergies. The room was luxurious and immaculately clean. The staff was very helpful prior to our arrival in helping us plan activities during our stay. "

"Very nice little hostel, only 4 rooms for 3 bathrooms so it feels private. The room was great, pretty clean with a private sink, the beds were confortable and a lot of space on top of our head despite being bunk beds. Nice location with view on Ben Nevis and the breakfast was just enough and cheap for what it's worth. Enough space as well if you wish to make your own food.I would recommend if you wish to have a quiet stay near Fort William."
