"We enjoyed a wonderful family week of birthday celebrations at The Byre. Rosie and Dave were the perfect hosts making sure we had everything we needed. In addition, it was a lovely surprise to receive homemade flapjacks and a bottle of prosecco on arrival. The location is so picturesque and peaceful and the accommodation was homely and ideal for 3 generations. Everyone (from age 14 to 80!) loved using the hot tub and pool everyday. This is a great location for exploring the stunning Trossachs....

"A wonderful place to spend time and as a base for exploring Stirling and beyond. Communication with the host superb and everything as described. Great experience and my two children loved that it was remote and that there was such an array of animals on the farm. Also easy to get to the local town to eat/shop. "

"Could not fault the accomodation. Nice touch with bread, eggs,bacon supplied. Very clean, well fitted out and in a fabulous location. Comfy beds and good sized rooms. Lots of wildlife on the doorstep and lovely patio area to enjoy . Unfortunately the weather stopped us doing that! Definitely recommend"

"WE ENJOYED STAYING HERE. IT WAS CONVENIENT TO ALL OF THE CASTLES, GARDENS AND OTHER SITES AROUND STIRLING, UP TO PERTH AND EASTWARD. THE HOUSE IS LOCATED ON THE OWNERS FARM. IT WAS PEACEFUL AND QUIET. IT HAD ALL THE AMENITIES LISTED IN THE SITE. IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX AFTER A BUSY DAY TOURING. WHILE BEING IN A RURAL SETTING, YOU ARE CLOSE TO ROADS TO GET TO ALL THE THINGS THERE ARE TO DO. THE EDINBURGH AIRORT IS ONLY 40 MINUTES AWAY."

"Everything where amazing about the please. Everything we needed were provided at the stay. Nancy help us with the direction with typo error on the directions and we getting lost. Place was very clean, instructions were very clear with local places to do shopping and visit. Place was very peaceful with nice view, big garden, big rooms and comfortable beds. "This is comfort camping, with great facilities in a communal area specific for those using yurts or huts, everything for cooking, reading, games etc. The toilet /shower room is located at the main house; toilet facilities are not next/ensuite to the accommodation. Good written information pack. You are generally off-grid with no phone signal; there is WiFi but not fast. The Estate gives you free reign to wander anywhere, understanding you are respectiveful of nature. There is an honesty shop to...
