« The house was a great little find in a beautiful part of Virginia. We loved it, our dogs loved it, and the host made it extra special. Brittney was available with quick responses to all our questions and she made the house feel so welcoming with cute baskets full of snacks and games. We will definitely be back! »

« Property owner was responsive to questions. Property was even better than pictures show. Be aware though of steep walk to the lake (which was known to us). Elderly and young children probably won't make it. But we got used to it and offers a nice, short exercise. Plenty of stocked firewood for a campfire and s'mores. Great stay! »

« We really enjoyed the three nights we spent at this property. We initially ran into some issues with VRBO, but the host, John, was very kind and accommodating. Updated interior photos of the cottage would serve to benefit the listing. I'd say the current photos do not show the full scope of the space or amenities. « Wonderful home. Plenty of towels, comfortable bedding, functioning kitchen, great space overall. We didn’t need the dinning room or items that would be convenient for a toddler, but they had them! High chair and pack n play! Would be a great place for a family to stay. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, easy check in, and basic needs are provided. I even found a first aid kit when I needed a bandaid. Hot tub is fantastic and relaxing. 10/10 recommend and will hope to stay again! »

« The property is not maintained outside. Safety concerns for sure. Huge hole leading into dock. Sock needs to be power washed due to buildup it’s very slippery. Bricks, stones, 2x4s randomly placed trip hazards everywhere. Lawned not mowed. Trash wasn’t picked up from previous renters . Inside ok for a DIY, table unstable, plywood bench, bed support broken. There more but that says a lot »

« Cabin was exactly as described! It was nice and updated. The views are amazing and the lake is so clean!! The dock is safe and there’s all new railings down to the dock. We went to two local winery’s and highly recommend Fables & Feathers Winery!! Also we didn’t bring our dogs this trip but when they say dog friendly they mean it - they had extra poop bags, extra dog bowls, dog treats, and extra leashes. We will 100% be back with our pups! »
