"This large house is nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on the covered patio or the elevated open-air deck. The views of the lake were incredible, with amazing sunrises and so many brights stars at night. The location is perfect! The area is quiet and only a short drive to shopping and restaurants. "We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

"We loved our stay! The location was perfect if you want to be downtown. There were many amenities that a lot of VRBOs don't include. The coffee bar was a huge feature for us, as was the large dining table we could all gather around. My checklist included a fireplace and a loft. My kids love traveling with a loft. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!!"
