"This large house is nicely furnished and decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on the covered patio or the elevated open-air deck. The views of the lake were incredible, with amazing sunrises and so many brights stars at night. The location is perfect! The area is quiet and only a short drive to shopping and restaurants. We went on several scenic drives to places near the home such as Lumberman's Monument and Tawas Point Light Station. The beach (at the end of the backyard lawn)...

There is no access to the water on the property, however, the state park is two miles away and there is an amazing dog beach there!"

"My sister in law and myself got away for a few days. I lost my husband (her brother) a few months ago and wanted serenity and peace...and we got it. Beautiful, newly renovated, clean, quiet, special details, beds are comfortable and love the sheets! Town is close by and lots of places to take picnics. The owners put love into this cottage. "

"Everything was wonderful. Just one pretty minor complaint: the CD player was weird to operate and only one speaker worked. We had a great time. We visited Tuttle Marsh and the River Road on the Au Sable River on our way out, and climbed the lighthouse and hiked all around the edge of the peninsula. The fall colors were at peak for a good portion of our trip up. Thanks very much for making our 40th anniversary a great experience."

"It’s pretty good cabin. The traffic was pretty noisy, but we made the best of it. Maybe some new windows on the cabin. They were hard to open and lock. I know this you probably can’t get a public beach access. Overall, it was a cute cabin and very nice. It’s was fun."

"Overall the house was very cute! There were a couple of issues though. There was only a/c in the living room. There was also a leak in the living room ceiling. However the owners were kind in refunding one days rent because of this. The response time on email was not great and the floors were dirty to the point that our socks were black and we were wearing flip flops in the house. But the house itself was very spacious, great location, and if those couple of items were fixed I’d definitely...
