"We made a last minute decision to stay overnight in Austin and was happy to see the very reasonable rate for Aloft. By mistake we booked the Aloft further away from downtown, but it was close enough. We didn’t expect the traffic to be as loud as it was and hearing lots of loud door closing in the hallway late through the night. "The home was ideal for our family. The "kids" (18-21) were able to keep occupied with the pool table and shuffleboard, as were the adults at times. We were able to prepare a great Thanksgiving dinner with a little room to spare in the kitchen. We'd brought a card table and were able to accommodate all eleven bodies quite comfortably. Out back was perfect for these New Englanders to enjoy a little more warm temperatures than we came home to. Folks in the neighborhood were very quiet as well....
