"Pablo goes above and beyond!!!! Stay here. Do not even look at any other options. We have stayed all over the world and this place is absolutely a piece of Paradise. Its in the middle of the jungle which is perfect after a long day of exploring the Mayan ruins in Tulum. The resturant is great and I can not express how awesome Pablo is. 10 out of 10"

"This house has the best location- right across from a park and the larger local cenote. The area is quiet and also full of birds and butterflies-perfect for morning walks! The house is snug and clean— we appreciated the abundance of beach and bath towels and the sink mounted pump for drinking water. The indoor shower had low pressure but we appreciated the outdoor shower. The kitchen is well stocked with stovetop cooking pots and pans, and the bright colors and Mexican decor made it a special place to be at home; loved having breakfast on the back patio and watching birds! The location is convenient to many amazing excursions, near and far- some days we only walked to Cenotes and Playa Xcacel; others we drove to places like Chichen Itza and Ek Balaam, and we had a great excursion to Si’an Kaan Biosphere Reserve, and saw an evening Cirque Du Soliel show. The internet was spotty but we didn’t have urgent work and could use cell data when necessary. We hope to return to Chan Chemuyil one day! "

"Check in was good. My room had two leaks and it was raining most days; one of the leaks dripped onto one of the beds. Ants were present; no left overs or snacks could be in the room due to this. Pool was open but not enough lights around it. Menu available was very limited. WiFi was very good throughout the place. No AC in rooms and the fan we had was too noisy to have it on at night. No beach access or beach nearby!! Hotel has no info or contacts for local taxis or airport shuttles. No mini fridge, we were not told we could have items in the hotel’s main fridge either. Mosquitoes were in the room every night, no bed nets available, seems staff leave doors open while doing room cleaning and plenty of mosquitoes get in. "

"Jam was amazing and helped with our questions and concerns. We had a great stay. The dome was clean, bathroom was clean. We had a great Jacuzzi. The property was so welcoming. We arrived very late (1130 pm) and Jam still showed us around and made us feel welcomed. It was in the jungle but within walking distance from a nearby town. Amazingggg stay and we would definitely go back again. "

"Excelente el trato de todo el staff, el servicio de primera. El lugar está hermoso, las instalaciones limpias, el desayuno riquísimo, te tratan con mucha amabilidad. Lo único es que no en todos los cuartos hay minisplit, y creo que conviene que a todos los cuartos les pongan minisplit y estaría perfecta la estancia. El WiFi no sirvió en ningún momento, también eso deberían resolver aunque es un poco entendible porque está en medio de a selva. Todo lo demás es fantástico "

"Hotel has great potential, but is very poorly managed. This is a very expensive hotel and does not provide a service in line with what is charged. The beach is gourgeous, but full with plastic waste that comes from the sea. All neighboring hotels and restaurants clean their beaches, this one does not. Additionally, the hotel charges disproportionate prices on everything: transfer from Cancun airport is 3x more than what we paid, a meal is 2x more than any restaurant in the village, a tour to the natural reserve is 3x more expensive."
