"This property is perfect for a getaway. It was our second time at the resort, and we returned because we had such a great time before. The buffet and the restaurants are great. The area is safe, and it’s an easy walk to Bucerías. The beach is a great place to walk and swim. Looking forward to returning next year. A bonus was the special area for Expedia guests which made it easy to make reservations at the restaurants and book tours. "

"top notch staff working at this property headed by victor....who surprised me by reckognizing me from a previous visit....who took the time to welcome me back and make sure i was happy....extremely professional....the bartending staff were excellent ramon-irvin- luiggi-alberto-nelson just to name a few of the bartending staff all were great making simple to exotic cocktails with PREMIUM spirits not cheap booze like other resorts.....most of the food i found delicious if you cant find something here that you like to eat your not hungry......the cleanliness of the hotel and grounds could not be better.....you could spend more elswhere .....but i dont think you find better resort.....the only thing i would like to see improvents are is more bathrooms.... a very common complaint from all patrons......more tvs in the sports bar with more networks so you can see the sporting event that you want.....it would also be nice to see their designated smoking area upgraded for us people who are ciggarette and cigar smokers.....9.6 out of 10 score for me ....thank you Riu Palace Pacifico"

"This was our second stay at this resort & it was as wonderful as the first two years ago! Small & intimate, with fast elevators. Clean, well maintained, with very responsive & helpful staff. Obviously they are treated well, since many are familiar faces that have been there for years! Special shout out to Carlos in the Lobby Bar for the best coffee, Jesus in Royal Restaurant, Ascencion in Valet for awesome service! Extra special shout out to the Entertainment Crew - Carlos (OMG!), Jesus & Eva, friendly & enthusiastic - who tirelessly keep people moving & having fun from morning til night and never lose their great smiles! We love the Royal upgrade - the Royal Lounge is quiet, attentive and food is excellent! It's also our favorite a la carte restaurant, though all are delicous & steps above the daily buffet! Japanese Cooking Table is especially fun! Tried out the 'free room service for Royal' option for first time - outstanding!! This property is perfect for 'young at heart' folks like us looking for low-key R&R, but also great for families with young kids. Lovely pools, exceptionally clean sandy beach that is wonderfully walkable. The Massages on the beach are exceptional (fixed my hubby's shoulder issue) and great value! The little 'store' on the beach is a fun place to explore for floaties, water shoes & other beaching needs at a great price. Supporting local! We look forward to going back again soon! "
