"I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Cocina Restaurant during my lovely one night stay at Casa Hotel in Chesterfield and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the warm, attentive service set the tone for an exceptional evening. The menu is a delightful blend of Mediterranean and European dishes, all beautifully prepared with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients—many from Walton Lodge farm. Every bite was perfection, from the exquisitely seasoned starters to the show-stopping main courses. The open kitchen added an extra touch of excitement, letting us witness the artistry behind each dish. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet inviting, making it perfect for a special occasion or just an indulgent treat. "The staff were extremely helpful and wery happy to provide extra coffee tea and sugar. Extra duvet was brought to the room when asked as the room was very cold due to a sharp change in the weather. However we managed to get the room warmed up and didn't need the extra duvet by bed time. Bathroom sink soap dispenser was empty but a replacement was brought up immediately. So excellent room service!! It was an unexpected stay due to the weather forecast for snow and an early morning check in at the nearby hospital. The result was perfect, thank you."
