"We went for a three day break after new year. The hotel was slightly busier than we or the staff expected which created a great atmosphere. The hotel is rooms above a restaurant/Pub, neither of which can be heard when you get to your room which was a real pleasant surprise. The residents lounge area at the front of the pub is a great idea, when the log fires are on it really is a great place to relax with a drink and let the dog sleep after a days walking. The bedroom was compact, but very clean...

"Lovely facilities and great atmosphere. Easy check in/out and clean room. The only issue I had was that the room itself was very cold throughout the night. But I did make the booking fairly last minute so it’s possible this was an oversight. "
