"Really nice hotel spa if you’re thinking of a long weekend in Windermere The staff are lovely and helpful and the breakfast was really good! The hotel generally is nice too. Only thing I will say is that the spa section is too small in proportion to the amount of guests that can stay at the hotel, it filled out quickly, to the point where it’s felt like there were too many people in the general area. Steam room and one of the hot tubs didn’t work either which was a bit of a let down. 4/5...

"Reception was excellent, both at arrival and checkout and the pool facilities were also good - we swam in the afternoon when it was quiet. Dinner was disappointing with thee of the six mains on the Brasserie menu being burgers. There were "specials" but this was a fixed menu. Waiting staff generally pleasant but largely inexperienced. On the Wednesday there were two large groups in, one close to us, but unfortunately the tables were not adjacent and our meal was punctuated by conversations...
