"Hotels dot com screwed up the reservation, but Jessica at the property did everything she could and made sure I️ have accommodations for my trip. She’s there to help and does a great job at that. The road going to the site is dirt, but that’s expected in CR. The pool at the smaller condos is amazing. Infinity, with fantastic views and the right depth to hang out and enjoy life. Definitely going back there the next time I’m in Uvita!!"

"We stayed in the Jungle Room, and it was spectacular. The view of the ocean from the two hanging chairs was amazing. Not only was the ocean beautiful, but we saw squirrel monkeys, scarlet macaws, and more, right from the room. Having the room open to the ocean also meant sleeping to the sound of waves crashing and waking up to the sounds of birds. Basically what you think of when you dream about paradise. If we come back to Quepos, we will be looking to stay here again. "

"The place was very cute but the check in for us was a nightmare. Could not get in contact with anyone and couldn’t find the exact location. Hotels.com was on the verge of finding us another place because nobody would answer the phone at the number provided when luckily another property owner knew of the place and helped us find it. Should just say in the listing to check in at Mar hotel or Don Taco."

"Really enjoyed the space for all 11 of us (ages6-45) It was perfect to have the extra casita for the kids and the pool was perfect! We loved how close we were to playa carillo and the little hotel next door was great - service, food, friendliness- all excellent! We booked shuttles through Samara rentals and it was a breeze. They were always ready and able to help. The washer/dryer was really helpful during the rainy days. "

"Howler Hideaway The Howler Hideaway was the perfect condo for our family of 4. The place was clean and super spacious and located perfectly in between downtown Quepos and the touristic part of town. The location was 5/10 minutes from any restaurant or tourist shops and about 10/15 minutes from any beach. The house manager Fabian provided outstanding service.
