« The balcony is perfect! Early morning with coffee we saw 3 kings of monkeys, amazone, agouti.. the pool is perfect after the day out and from there we saw toucans and also scarlett macaw! The owner have several dogs and a cat and they are very friendly with everybody! We love that place and recommend it! Alberto and Milena are great hosts! »

« My husband, sister, neice, and I had a wonderful time at this gorgeous vacation home. Very clean with comfy beds, a big covered deck, a refreshing pool, and plenty of space. Bud was helpful and friendly, and provided clear directions and a booklet of wonderful recommendations. We saw macaws and monkeys from the deck and living room. « What a great place to stay! The description of La Casa Roja is bang on! What a great place! Did I mention that already? 4 of us stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute of it. The open air concept was incredible. To be able to sit and watch Howler, White Face and Titi monkeys come through the backyard jungle along with Macaws, Agoutis and the resident Sloth was amazing! The owner, concierge and housekeeper were all great people and made our stay perfect! We highly recommend staying here! »

« Solitude and sun with all the necessities. Absolutely loved this place. The grounds were fantastic, enjoyed the pool daily, and opted to stay in the pool house because of the outdoor shower. I wish i could have stayed here longer. Felt secluded enough but the beach and restaurants either a short walk or quick drive away. If i had to give anything negative and this is a stretch the water could have been hotter for the showers. »

« The property was very nice and in a great part of the country. We especially enjoyed seeing the monkeys, various birds and iguanas in the trees and deck each day. We walked into town each day, shopping and experiences the restaurants. Quepos was nice as well other tourist attractions in the area. Marie was helpful, arranging tours and giving recommendations. The property did need some maintenance, for example, the master shower head needs replacing, and the pool area needed some painting...

« Overall we enjoyed our stay. The listing pictures however did not accurately depict what was or was not in the house. For example there were no televisions in the house and the dining room furniture was not as depicted and needed to be updated. For example, the chairs did not match the height of the table and were uncomfortable. The pool was fabulous but the furniture around the pool was not very comfortable. Fernando and Maria were very responsive whenever we needed anything. »
