"The thermostat did not work, making the room too hot to sleep despite opening the windows.Several attempts to contact the hotel went unanswered.Left after one night of two night stay as I was feeling ill due to lack of sleep.Getting to room was an obstacle course due to mattresses in hallway from renovations.Hallways were filthy due to renovations.The room itself was fairly clean though. Can not recommend due to lack of management feedback or concern."

"What a perfect weekend. A MUST STAY. I regret not staying here years sooner. 11 stars, chic hotel, modern bar, grotto hot tub. Room was super cozy, like someone turned up the heater right before we walked in (Jan 18th, -17oC). Room was super clean too, down to the last water drop being polished away from the faucets. "The staff are wonderful, and the hotel offered a lovely hot chocolate and cookies Happy Hour between 4 pm - 6 pm in the warm reception sitting area. Sipping the hot chocolate in front of the large fireplace made for a cozy time to visit and relax. The "breakfast on the go" is also a fantastic idea. The food is tasty and so affordable. We had a great time staying here."

"This was the first time I stayed in Banff and I'll definitely be staying at this lodge again. We stayed during their big skijoring weekend, and they made it such an enjoyable weekend. They texted us in advance with information about parking reservations, they let us check in early, and we got free breakfast. Honestly, they exceeded expectations.
