"One night stay for work. Looks like an Alpine lodge from the outside, inside very smart interior. Professional greeting at reception. When I stayed the restuarant was not open, but yoyu could get food served from the bar and the "pub" downstairs - I chose to eat elsewhere. I was in room 236, which was huge. The ensuite had a walk in shower and a bath. The room had a desk to work at, a great TV on a movable walk bracket, as well as 2 sofas. Bed was comfortable but the sofa was not. Wifi in room...

"We wanted a location close to the town centre and you can't get much closer than this. We were also fortunate to get free parking in one of the few spaces just outside the main entrance although I believe there is convenient and reasonably priced parking nearby. Whilst not very modern, the hotel was in good repair, clean and tidy throughout and the staff were unfailingly cheerful, helpful and a genuine pleasure ... made us feel welcome.
