"Very handy for our flight , but non of the electric walk ways were working . The pool & gym were lovely. We did not have enough towels in our room. We got a free bottle of wine which we had no choice , had to ask 3,times for them us & our brother in another room , when we did get the wine it was not a full size just a glass full."

"Happy with my stay, room was lovely nice amenities like a nespresso coffee machine, great area. Would have liked a heads up of the building works going on and you absolutely can hear the bells from your room so be mindful. But staff were lovely and we had a partial view of St Paul’s from our room which was lovely! High tech tv in the room as well"

"I'd been put off previously by the reviews, but my stay was fine. Behind the bins and building materials you can see from the entrance that this was once quite a grand hotel, and despite being a bit faded, it's very good value for money. "

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mary on reception let us check in early as the room was ready. Mary gave us a quiet room as requested. Guests are not always considerate though as they banged doors and ralked loudly in the early hours of the morning. We checked in on my birthday so a gesture of a card would have been nice."

"Stayed to attend event at 02. Cable car across was brilliant. Unfortunately the Elizabeth line and DLR were closed for maintenance so had to use Jubilee line then a bus. The yacht was lovely, rooms are large. Bathrooms very clean. Breakfast had lots of choice, good quality food and plentiful. My only complaint would be that we returned to the room at 7 as we had a long day travelling and didn’t want to go out. Not sure if the boom boom music was from a private function or just the...
